Gift of Eomar
Miraak the Unyielding
As the group made their way through the boundaries around the Ruins of Khar’Kuut, the dark druid revealed himself to the companions. His sanity seems shredded by his pursuit of retribution against those who care naught for the natural world he loves. Miraak vows to use the tools provided to him by his mysterious benefactor to adjust the scales back towards the side of the natural world, to give the wild growth a fighting chance against encroaching civilization.
He held a strange power over the young mouseling Ray, transforming him into a formidable enemy against the companions.
The companions thwarted his plans deep within the Ruins of Khar’Kuut, striking the head from the cultist movement. During the confrontation, Miraak revealed being given this task in accordance with an unknown benefactor.
Once a shaman of Darrowmere, promoting accord with civilization and the woodlands, Miraak coordinated many regulations to help conserve the ‘terra incognita’ he held with such benevolence.
Frustrated by the lack of concern for preservation, Miraak has since taken increasingly severe strides towards the safeguarding of the natural world. A growing contempt has begun to warp his view on humanity.
Raised in Darrowmere, Miraak developed a close bond with nature from a young age. A passionate young man, he was capable of charming throngs of intellectuals during the open-forum discussions on the nature of the savage frontier, what was known as the ‘terra incognita’.
At the heart of Darrowmere, Miraak promoted accord with civilization and the woodlands and coordinated many regulations to help preserve the ‘terra incognita’ he held with such benevolence.
Frustrated by the lack of concern for preservation, Miraak has since taken increasingly severe strides towards the safeguarding of the natural world. He isolated his movement from his political supporters by calling for not only the halt in lucrative migration to the area, but an actual regression of it’s progress.
With the lack of support, his movement went underground and began harrying convoys with non-lethal force on the open roads, much to the vexation of the Darrowmere governing body.
Now considered an outlaw in the land, there is a substantial reward for bringing Miraak to Darrowmere, to face his justice. Currently the bounty calls for non-lethal force.
